A much improved Mocksup Mobile
We added iPhone support back in July and in the past couple of months several companies have started depending on it as an easy way to share work with clients and conduct user testing.
As they used it more and more they had lots of helpful suggestions about ways to improve it. This morning we pushed several of those suggestions. Among them:
Cleaner design and a custom icon: Adding Mocksup to your iPhone’s home screen makes it behave more like a native app, getting rid of Safari’s footer toolbar and letting your iPhone mockups take up the entire screen. And now, not only has the entire mobile interface been cleaned up and better thought out, but when you add Mocksup to your home screen you also get a custom iPhone icon. Fancy!
“Remember me” at login actually remembers you: Before, if you logged in and then refreshed, you’d have to login again. Now, if you’re logged in and refresh, you’re still logged in. Needless to say, big improvement.
You can turn off link highlighting: In the “desktop” version of Mocksup you can turn off the yellow link highlighting that happens when you hover over mockups. This makes Mocksup more useful for user testing and the like. Now turning on and off link highlighting works with the mobile version as well.
Give the new Mocksup Mobile a try and don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.
